Amen! Hope the rider lived to ride another day. So true about the PROPER GEAR and for the riders that never been down all you can do is hope it never happens to you but WHEN it does just have your gear on. I see far too many people riding around with shorts,runners,tank tops,no gloves and FRICKIN flop sandals. I say safe than SORRY road rash is a Bitch let me tell you for the nurse to clean your road rash they'll have to clean your raw wound with a medicated sponge and in the other side is a plastic bristle brush scrubbing the hell out of your wound to clean it properly and not they don't numb it with an injection of any sorts. I just shake my head when I see those people riding like that, because it's Sooooo Hot outside. Ride safe people and Properly Geared up.
