Some stuff I'd like to do with the GB500 in ascending order of how much ambition is required:
1. Detailing... engine, chain, sprockets and guards, rims, wax the painted parts
2. Swap the pillion pegs back to the original solo rearsets
3. Fix the seat hinge with its busted stud
4. Lube and adjust the clutch and throttle cables
5. Change the oil and filter
6. Change and bleed the brake fluid
7. Install a proper smog block-off kit
8. Swap the header (remove the California header and its accompanying catalytic convertor and install the original straight-through header, retaining the SuperTrapp slip-on
9. Investigate and fix the dripping carburetor
10. Replace the chain and sprockets, gear it down a little
11. Tune the carb, clean up the airbox
12. mount the clip-ons under the top triple, lower the headlights and instruments
13. Service the suspension
14. Install the hot camshaft and valve spring kit that came with the spares
15. 101mm 10.5:1 piston and sleeve kit (640cc)
We'll see how far down the list I can get.
