I had some friends ask me about an Alaska ride. So... the website (360Bikers) has explicit details. I recommend looking there. Yes, there's a link for registration.
There are things to do and things to consider. But, yes, I have finished the route plans including fuel stops/accommodation areas and tempted myself. It is a very challenging route to plan, let alone ride. The hardest part is the sparse fuel stations. It can get very tricky, though I'm sure there are more gas stations than what my planner found... I hope. Some stations have interesting payment methods we may have to enroll in... or try to avoid those.
There are great details on the website, including a couple overview maps. My logistics are based on Knoxville, but you can join anywhere along the way. Official meeting places will be for Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; South Chicago, IL; Madison, WI; St. Cloud, MN; Fargo, ND and Regina, SK. I'll personalize exact times and locations with anyone joining. The approximate cost for your fuel, accommodations, food, and souvenirs is about $4,000 if you share a room based on current prices and estimates.
