Starting to plan out paint:

Yesterday my dad drove me to his friend nate's shop. Nate is the guy we will have paint my fenders and gas tank. We left the tank and fenders with him to sand blast and my dad will pick them up from his shop later this week. The tank has a small crack in the front so once it is sand blasted I will have to patch it and sand it out. I also have to wait and see what the bottom of the tank looks like after it is sand blasted. If the bottom is completely rusted out then I may have to find a different tank. After the pieces are sand blasted all we have to do is paint them and that part of the project will be done. The paint will be the most expensive part of the entire project. The final cost will be around $350 for all 3 pieces to be sand blasted, primed and painted. The pictures below are just quick color sketches that I did to kind of show what the final painted tank and fenders will look like. (Sorry if the lines aren't straight I did this on an iPad and it's not the easy)
