It’s one thing, when you have a chance to own a World Superbike racing machine, which comes up for sale, and you know that it will be dripping with all the right parts, and have a pedigree to match. And it’s completely different thing, when this bike was raced by Nicky Hayden, who is still loved by a huge army of fans!

In honor of the late MotoGP World Champion, Nicky Hayden, the Ten Kate Racing Team is putting the MotoGP Legend’s actual Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 for sale.

By the way, it’s not a replica of a Fireblade SP2 done up as like Nicky Hayden’s machine. This superbike is the actual bike used by him in multiple races against some of the best riders.

Equipped with matching chassis and engine numbers, matching ECU and electronics numbers, plus a matching chassis build-up, this is definitely a way to get people’s attentions during track days.

The only thing you must have to own this piece of history is a whopping €95,000, as the asking price for Hayden’s Honda WorldSBK bike built by Ten Kate Racing plus shipping and the other mad fees you need to cough up just to get this bike onto our strict shores.

Exact specifications used by Nicky Hayden in racing includes:

  • TKR/Cosworth engine kit
  • Cosworth electronics package with TKR fly-by-wire system (the full electronic package on this bike is developed and built in-house in collaboration with Cosworth, the special TKR fly-by-wire system is also developed and built in-house)
  • Öhlins WorldSBK-spec suspensions
  • Nissin + Yutaka WorldSBK-spec brakes
  • TKR swingarm, Marchesini wheels
  • aluminium braced chassis
  • WorldSBK-spec Akrapovic exhaust system
  • plus many more.

Described as “absolute showroom stage” by Ten Kate Racing, the future proud owner of this Honda will also receive a certificate of authenticity to make sure everything is as legit as it can be.

For more information on the bike you can contact Kervin Bos at Ten Kate Racing: k.bos@tenkateracing.com.
