Suzuki's long-standing partner, Yoshimura, has put its own spin on the 2014 GSR750 "beast." The GSR is a naked, slightly lighter version of the iconic sportbike GSX-R750, offering a different visual treat for fans of middleweight motorcycles who prefer a more upright and comfortable riding position.
The Yoshimura version boasts a Yoshimura R11 high-performance exhaust and standard belly pan, along with a rear seat cowl and custom aluminum and lightweight alloy parts that enhance its cool looks. The Suzuki GSR750 Yoshimura SE is visually stunning, with its eye-catching paint job featuring 1980s Suzuki factory racing colors. However, the SE is not just about looks, as it packs a punch with 106 PS of raw power and 82 Nm of peak torque.
This Yoshimura GSR750 could not be left with a stock livery, and the paint job it received mixes several old-school sportbike accents from previous GSX-R machines, while managing to remain a non-excessively flamboyant presence. While it's unclear how the Yoshimura SE compares to the 106 horsepower at 10,000 rpm, 82 Nm (59.7 lb-ft) at 7500 rpm stock bike, there are reasons to believe it is a better machine. We'll provide updates on the price and number of Yoshimura plans to build as soon as we have more information.
