The Indian Single 1908 owned by CeDora, a pioneering stuntwoman, is a remarkable piece of history. CeDora performed on this motorcycle for 11 years in the Globe of Death, a steel sphere where riders perform gravity-defying loops. In the early 20th century, the Globe of Death was a popular attraction at circuses, carnivals, and motorcycle shows across North America. CeDora was billed as "The World's Most Daring Woman - Defying Death on a Motorcycle," and was even called "The Human Gyroscope."

CeDora's signature stunt was performed in many places, including the New York Hippodrome, which was the world's largest theater at the time, and the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where a water circus was held. The Steel Pier boasted various attractions, such as a horse diving into a tub of water from a great height, clowns doing comedic dives into the ocean, trapeze acts, dancing bears, elephants, seals, porpoises, and dogs.

The Indian Single 1908 is a unique motorcycle. It was purpose-built for stunt riding, and very few were made. CeDora's Indian Single 1908 is the only one known to have survived. The motorcycle has a 7 hp engine, a 499 cc inlet-over-exhaust single, and was designed by Carl Oscar Hedstrom.

CeDora's accomplishments were truly pioneering. She was reputed to be the first woman to appear in public wearing shorts, which was considered an affront to femininity at the time. An American motorcycle collector spotted the dilapidated motorcycle at a show in 1988, bought it for US$10,000, and restored it to its current glory.

The Motorcycle exhibition, held at Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) from November 28, 2020, to April 26, 2021, showcased CeDora's Indian Single 1908 and other historic motorcycles. CeDora, "The most daring girl on earth," will always be remembered as a pioneer in the field of stunt riding.
