Ducati North America has announced the recall of some of its 2023 Diavel V4 models due to a production defect in the passenger foot pegs supplied by a vendor. The recall affects up to 145 motorcycles, which have been identified by the company.
The recall campaign instructions have been sent to all the Ducati dealerships in North America. The owners are instructed to take their vehicles to the dealership for inspection and possible repair. The company will replace the faulty passenger foot pegs with a “K22” batch code free of charge.
The recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure, and the owners of the affected motorcycles are urged to have their vehicles inspected and repaired at the earliest possible. However, right-side passenger pegs (PN.46520942AA) and/or left-side passenger foot pegs (PN.46520952AA) not designated within the “K22” batch will not be replaced.
