Harley-Davidson's customizing arm, Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO), has announced the release of their 2023 model year Street and Road Glides. These two-wheelers are highly anticipated due to the promised "revolutionary takes on the historical art of evolution" and the introduction of a new Milwaukee-Eight 121 engine. Although little information has been released, Harley-Davidson assures customers that both bikes will be a new level of Grand American Touring experience.
The CVO Street and Road Glides have gone through CVO transformations before, but this time, they will be rethought from the ground up. The new degree of visual changes and fresh infotainment are also promised, with the full data dump coming on June 7.
The new Milwaukee-Eight 121 engine will have variable valve timing (VVT), but further details have yet to be released. Along with the new engine, both bikes will be treated to new suspension systems.
The CVO Road Glide has an updated version of the existing shark nose fairing, designed to visually fit in with the fuel tank, side covers, and saddlebags. The single LED headlamp has been redesigned to look like a twin piece, and the turn signals are now part of the fairing. The Street Glide's batwing fairing has a new shape, and the windshield on its top is more swept. Both fairings come with integrated turn signals.
Harley-Davidson will offer both the 2023 CVO Road Glide and 2023 CVO Street Glide in two color choices, with pricing still unknown. The company has promised that these bikes will be a groundbreaking addition to the Grand American Touring experience.
