KTM has just announced its latest addition to the motorcycle world, the 2023 890 SMT. This versatile supermoto machine is powered by an 889cc LC8c parallel twin engine that produces 105 hp at 8,000 rpm and 100 Nm of torque. The bike weighs 194 kg (428 pounds) and is designed to sit between KTM's Adventure and Street ranges.
The 890 SMT is equipped with WP APEX suspension hardware and 17-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin PowerGP rubber, making it a perfect choice for both highway cruising and off-road adventure. The bike also comes with a 15.8-liter fuel tank, which can drain about 4.6 liters of fuel every 100 km (51 mpg in American numbers), and heated grips.
The KTM 890 SMT can be configured for Rain, Street, and Sport use, with an additional Track mode feature. The bike is visually stunning with orange rims and some parts of the body, complemented by black pretty much everywhere else.
KTM will begin taking orders for the 890 SMT by the end of the month, with deliveries starting in May. However, this long-range supermoto machine will not be available in the U.S. this year. In the UK, the price starts at £12,499.
