VAHNA, formerly known as META magazine, has announced the launch of the first annual VAHNA Motorcycle Film Festival in partnership with Triumph Motorcycles. The festival is a film competition and tour that aims to celebrate the art of motorcycle cinematography and provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their talents.
The festival is open to anyone who is passionate about motorcycles and has a talent for capturing the essence of riding on film. Entries should be between 5-15 minutes in length, with no copyrighted music or footage and specific title cards included. The deadline for final submissions is September 30, 2023.
After the submission deadline, the top 10 films will be selected and screened in various cities across the US, where public audiences and guest judges will vote on the winners. The top three winners will receive prize packages from the festival's supporting partners, and the overall winner will receive a brand new 2024 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black.
The festival currently plans to make stops in Atlanta, Denver, Austin, New York City, and Los Angeles, with more cities expected to be added to the tour. The dates for each stop will be announced soon.
For more information and to submit a film, interested parties can visit https://www.vahna.com/filmfestival.
