While there may not be actual gold on this particular bike, its beauty and craftsmanship are undeniable. Originally a BMW R 100 R Classic from 1994, Diamond Atelier transformed it in 2015 into a captivating blend of a scrambler and a cafe racer, featuring sleek lines and a powerful presence.

During the transformation, every piece of stock bodywork was replaced, and the bike shed its OEM exhaust, airbox, and lighting components, along with its subframe and bulky seat. To achieve a more aggressive riding posture, the forks were lowered by approximately three inches (75 mm), and a custom subframe was installed at the rear.

The bespoke subframe is topped with a handcrafted saddle, while an LED taillight ensures a clean rear end. The centerpiece is an exquisite fuel tank from an older airhead model, seamlessly integrated with the bike's immaculate cockpit. Diamond Atelier fitted aftermarket clip-ons with CNC-machined controls and bar-end turn signals from Motogadget, enhancing the bike's aesthetics and functionality. However, the real showstopper is the custom-built top clamp, featuring a remarkable 0.17-carat diamond above the laser-cut engravings of the workshop's initials and build number—a truly unique feature that sets this motorcycle apart.

At the front, an angular LSL headlight adds a modern touch amidst the bike's retro styling. Dual-purpose Continental TKC 80 tires embrace the wheels, complemented by dual 320 mm (12.6-inch) floating discs and Brembo calipers for responsive braking. The braking system is enhanced by a premium master cylinder and braided stainless-steel hoses.

Under the hood, Diamond Atelier replaced the stock carbs with 40 mm (1.6-inch) Dell'Orto replacements, accompanied by K&N air filters and a high-grade Akrapovic exhaust, providing optimal performance. The bike's paint scheme features a dark grey base on the tank, matte and satin black finishes elsewhere, and gold accents throughout, adding a touch of luxury to its overall appearance.
