A KTM electric scooter, developed in collaboration with Bajaj, has been spotted undergoing testing abroad. Although the test mule was unbranded, the rider's KTM-branded jacket has sparked speculation that this could be the anticipated e-scooter from the renowned motorcycle brand. There is also the possibility that the scooter may be sold under the Husqvarna name, as it is also owned by KTM. This prototype version of the e-scooter showcases various 3D printed exterior parts, which may or may not make it to the final production model.

Visually, the scooter appears to be slightly larger in size compared to conventional electric scooters. Notable features include a spacious windscreen, alloy wheels, a TFT display, and vertically-stacked twin projector headlights with adjacent air ducts designed to cool the battery. In terms of its components, the electric scooter boasts a telescopic fork at the front and a horizontally mounted monoshock setup at the rear, along with a lightweight aluminum swingarm. The powertrain covering also incorporates fins, likely for cooling purposes, and the battery pack is positioned on the floorboard. Braking duties are expected to be managed by a single disc setup at both ends, possibly equipped with ABS.

While there is no official information about the powertrain, reports suggest that two variants will be available. One variant is rumored to feature a 4 kW motor, while the other will be equipped with an 8 kW unit capable of reaching a top speed of 100 km/h.

Originally announced by KTM in 2019, the e-scooter is anticipated to be unveiled at EICMA later this year, with the official launch expected to follow at a later date.
