During the Baja España Aragón event held from July 22 to 24, 2022, Iván Cervantes, a five-time enduro world champion, competed on a specially modified Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Together, Cervantes and the motorcycle emerged victorious in the Trail category, finishing more than an hour ahead of the closest competitor.
To commemorate this remarkable achievement, Triumph unveiled two new motorcycles on July 18, 2023: the 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition and the Tiger 900 GT Aragón Edition. These special editions not only feature eye-catching graphics but also offer performance upgrades beyond their standard counterparts, paying tribute to Cervantes' outstanding performance. Both models will be available for only one year before becoming part of motorcycle history.
Let's begin with the 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition. Its exterior design is reminiscent of Cervantes' competition bike from 2022, with dominant colors such as Matte Phantom Black, Matte Graphite, and Crystal White. Racing Yellow accents, Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition decals, and a new two-tone seat design further enhance its appearance.
In addition to the graphics, the Rally Aragón Edition boasts special Showa forks that Triumph claims have been tuned for superior off-road performance, although specific details about the tuning are not provided. It also includes fuel tank protection bars, while both the Rally Aragón Edition and the GT Aragón Edition come equipped with engine protection bars.
The GT Aragón Edition showcases a color scheme of Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White, featuring the Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition graphics seen on the Rally Edition. This model is equipped with fully adjustable 1.8-inch upside-down Marzocchi cartridge forks and an electronically adjustable rear suspension unit.
Pricing and availability will vary depending on the region. In the US, the 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition will be available at the end of July with a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $16,995. Similarly, the 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Aragón Edition will also be available at the end of July, priced at $16,495 MSRP.
In Canada, both models will start arriving at dealerships towards the end of July. The Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition will have a starting price of $19,795 CAD, while the Tiger 900 GT Aragón Edition will start at $18,895 CAD.
