Ducati has firmly established itself as a leader in the adventure motorcycle segment with its highly popular Multistrada lineup.
With an impressive sales record of over 100,000 units, the Multistrada continues to shine as Ducati's crowning glory and remains the best-selling motorcycle in 2023. The Multistrada V4, in particular, has garnered immense popularity since its introduction.
Building on this remarkable success, Ducati is gearing up to expand its Multistrada offerings in 2024. Recently, the company confirmed its plans by filing trademarks for two new models in the United States, sparking excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts.
One of the eagerly anticipated releases is the Ducati Multistrada V4 Grand Tour for the 2024 model year. Having secured certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), this adventure-packed motorcycle promises an exhilarating riding experience.
Drawing inspiration from its predecessor, the 2020 Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour, the V4 Grand Tour is expected to come equipped with practical features such as hard saddlebags, auxiliary lights, a center stand, and new saddles.
Furthermore, riders can look forward to an array of creature comforts, including a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic gas cap, heated grips, and keyless ignition.
Ducati is likely to follow a similar approach as the 2024 Multistrada Grand Tour, building on the existing V4 S model and adding distinctive elements to set it apart from its standard counterpart. By incorporating these premium features, along with a unique colorway to enhance its exclusivity, the Grand Tour is destined to become a highly coveted adventure motorcycle.
Under the hood, the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour will retain its powerhouse performance, boasting the formidable Granturismo 1,158cc V4 engine capable of delivering an impressive 170hp @ 10,500rpm and 125Nm @ 8,750rpm via a six-speed gearbox.
Riders can also rely on a wide range of advanced rider aids, including various ride modes, power modes, wheelie control, radar-guided cruise control, and traction control.
For those concerned about the ride quality, fear not, as Ducati has maintained the suspension setup with 50mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, both equipped with Ducati's Skyhook technology for electronic adjustability.
With the thrilling prospect of the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour joining the illustrious Multistrada lineup, adventure motorcycle enthusiasts have even more to look forward to in 2024. Stay tuned for updates as Ducati continues to redefine the adventure riding experience!
