Manufacturer KTM, stands as a testament to their rich legacy in rally racing, particularly the arduous Dakar Rally. KTM proudly claims to be "the most successful team in rally history," and their dominance in the Dakar Rally reinforces this claim. This factory-produced marvel, the KTM 450 Rally, draws its inspiration from the invaluable experiences gained through years of competing in the Dakar Rally.

In the latest Dakar Rally, KTM's prominence was undeniable. The victory in the motorcycle category was secured by the skilled Argentine rider, Kevin Benavides, who clinched the title, finishing a remarkable 55 seconds ahead of the runner-up, Toby Price. Both champions rode under the banner of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, astride their trusty KTM 450 Rally bikes—the very machines that served as the muse for the newly unveiled 2024 model year Replica.

This 2024 replica model, developed in collaboration with Kevin Benavides himself, capitalizes on the lessons gleaned from their Dakar triumph. While primarily designed for those competing in national and international rally events, it also caters to enthusiasts embarking on multi-stage cross-country adventures.

At its core, the bike boasts a potent 450cc engine linked to a Pankl six-speed transmission, the same drivetrain trusted by the KTM Red Bull racing team. Nestled within a race-spec chassis featuring a robust chromoly steel frame, this motorcycle incorporates Keihin Management system and ECU maps finely tuned for rally racing. Its engine performance is masterfully channeled through an Akrapovic exhaust system.

Given the paramount importance of suspension in this demanding sport, KTM leaves no room for compromise. The 450 Rally replica is equipped with 48 mm WP XACT PRO closed cartridge forks upfront, complemented by a fully adjustable WP XACT PRO shock absorber at the rear.

Stefan Huber, KTM Rally Technical Manager, attests, "The bike is READY TO RACE straight out of the crate, boasting all the essential attributes for achieving top-tier success. Many riders have entrusted this motorcycle to help them realize their rally aspirations, and its development closely mirrors that of our Dakar Rally-winning machine under the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing banner."

KTM has announced its intention to produce this race-ready masterpiece in limited quantities, with a mere 80 units scheduled to roll off the assembly line. While the bike is already available on the company's website, pricing details remain undisclosed. As customary with KTM limited editions, prospective buyers are forewarned that this exclusive offering is likely to sell out swiftly. If you harbor ambitious racing aspirations this year, it's advisable not to delay and secure your ride before the competition claims the remaining available slots.
