Thunderbike set out to give their custom Harley Street Bob a heroic twist with the creation of the "Radical Queen." Known for their innovative designs, Thunderbike has brought numerous custom builds to life over the years. These creations often reflect unique themes and purposes, with some being influenced by the owner's vision and others guided by the shop's creative freedom. In the case of the "Radical Queen," Thunderbike aimed to turn an existing bike called "Vader's Fist" into a "good guy" or "good gal" version.

While "Vader's Fist" exuded a dark and ominous aura suitable for a movie villain, the "Radical Queen" retained its basic style but took on a hero-themed image. This transformation involved meeting specific customer requests, including the incorporation of handlebars with pointed tips. Adapting these unique handlebars into Thunderbike's proprietary Radical 2.0 fork required some careful engineering. Fortunately, the Harley Street Bob's Milwaukee Eight powerplant, equipped with a drive-by-wire system and a hydraulic clutch, made this task manageable. Thunderbike's decision to revert to a hydraulic clutch was driven by both aesthetic considerations and the customer's preference.

In addition to these modifications, Thunderbike introduced several enhancements to the "Radical Queen." These included a rear disc brake discreetly positioned behind the pulley, a shortened fender, Thunderbike struts, an 18-inch FLH rear wheel, and a 180-width tire, boasting a classic whitewall design similar to its counterpart. To further elevate the bike's aesthetics and functionality, an extended tank was added, enhancing its overall flair. An air ride suspension system was also installed to ensure a smoother ride, allowing the owner to adjust the ride height as needed.

The end result of Thunderbike's craftsmanship, a hallmark of their creations, is the "Radical Queen." This custom Harley Street Bob retains its distinct style while embracing a heroic persona. While some may prefer more radical designs, the "Radical Queen" strikes a harmonious balance, making it an appealing and uniquely customized motorcycle for enthusiasts.
