Kove, a relatively new player in the Chinese small-capacity motorcycle market, has unveiled an innovative cafe racer known as the 321F Cafe. This design unmistakably draws inspiration from the prevailing trend of neo-retro motorcycles.
Platform and Power: Underpinning: The 321F Cafe shares its foundation with Kove's 300cc roadsters, specifically the Cobra 321 R and the 321 RR sportbike. Heartbeat: All three models are propelled by a 321cc parallel-twin engine, showcasing a clear influence from Yamaha's design philosophy. This engine cranks out 41.5 horsepower at 10,500 RPM.
Performance and Specifications: Weight Class: The wet weight hovers around 153 kilograms (337 pounds), inclusive of a full tank of fuel. Power-to-Weight Excellence: This bike aligns with the A2 license restrictions in Europe, boasting a power-to-weight ratio of approximately 0.268 horsepower per kilogram. Top Velocity: Kove asserts a top speed of 170 km/h (approximately 105 mph) in its sixth gear. Transmission: A standard feature includes a six-speed gearbox.
Chassis and Characteristics: Distinctive Swingarm: The motorcycle stands out with its distinctive single-sided swingarm. Suspension System: Equipped with an upside-down telescopic fork and a centrally-mounted mono-shock, it promises a smooth ride. Rubber on the Road: The front tires measure 110/70 R17, while the rear tires are 150/60 R17. Classic Appeal: Embracing the classic cafe racer aesthetic, wire-spoke wheels adorn the bike. Braking Confidence: Standard anti-lock brakes are accompanied by a 320-millimeter single disc at the front and a 240-millimeter disc at the rear. Wheelbase: Spanning 1,390 millimeters, the 321F Cafe offers agile and nimble handling.
Design and Features: Aesthetic Fusion: The design blends elements reminiscent of Husqvarna's aesthetics with subtle nods to Honda's Hawk11. Tech Savvy: The bike features a TFT gauge cluster and LED lights, all wrapped in a neo-retro style, adding to its contemporary charm.
