Energica Motor has proudly announced its recent triumph in securing a contract from UGAP (Union des Groupements d’Achats Publics), France's foremost central public procurement entity. Livia Cevolini, CEO of Energica Motor, expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in their company by the French central procurement body, emphasizing the significance of this partnership. She stated, "This new venture not only offers remarkable immediate prospects but also paves the way for our long-term future. The French government's commitment to electric vehicle adoption, including preparations for the upcoming Olympics, is indeed commendable, and we are honored to be a part of this transformative journey."

In November 2022, UGAP issued a tender for 2 and 3-wheeled vehicles to cater to public entities, including French law enforcement agencies. Out of numerous applicants, Energica was selected to fulfill the supply of "road trail" type motorcycles with power exceeding 8 kW.

Philippe BAUDON, CEO of Durisotti SAS, commented on the exciting collaboration between Energica and Durisotti, stating, "We are thrilled to embark on this significant project, which has been prepared and won jointly. All Durisotti teams are fully engaged in commencing production and commercialization of motorcycles tailored for law enforcement."

The successful bid also involved Durisotti SAS, a company specializing in vehicle modifications, and SARL Tendance Roadster, Energica's inaugural dealership in France since 2017, which will serve as the local coordinator.

Giacomo Leone, Energica Sales Director ROW, highlighted the technical excellence of the Experia model and its potential to enhance patrolling operations. He stated, "Experia offers unparalleled range and is well-suited for urban environments. Each Experia model can be customized to match local police colors and adhere to the specific equipment requirements for lights, radios, and sirens in each country."

Guillaume Tirard, Managing Director of Tendance Roadster, expressed his delight at being selected by UGAP, recognizing it as a well-deserved acknowledgment of their years of dedicated work. He eagerly anticipates the new journey ahead, describing it as a "human, industrial, and, above all, exciting adventure."

The Experia Green Tourer model, specially adapted by Energica, will follow in the footsteps of the 88 EsseEsse9+ motorcycles provided by the Indonesian National Police for the 2022 G20 Bali Summit.
