Target Design was formed back in 1979 after 3 ex-BMW stylists (including the legendary Hans Muth) decided to split off and try things on their own. They almost immediately made a name for themselves by winning a competition from German magazine Motorrad about what motorcycles would look like in the future. Their winning design (called the ED-1, ED stood for European Design) was based on a MV Agusta:

If the design looks vaguely familiar to you, it might be because Suzuki liked what they saw and they brought on Target Design to evolve their idea for production – it became the incredible Suzuki Katana.

Fast forward to 2008, when a German classic bike dealer decided to turn the ED1 prototype into a production model. They revealed a prototype at the Padova Auto D’Epoca, and only was built. Approximate price … $146,150.
