Spring Flowers are beginning to bloom. Let's head across the valley to some scenic vistas and a picnic lunch on the east side of the East Bay. Bring your lunch or pick up a bite to eat at Luigi's Deli in Martinez. Lunch will be at the Mineral Springs Picnic Area in Tilden Park. On the way home will zip along the ridges and the canyons of the East Bay done to Castro Valley. Then out to Tassajara and Patterson Pass, past a few delta feeders and back up 88 to gold country.

Meet at Buffalo Chips in Sutter Creek. Meet time is 8:30 with KSU soon after. Come a little early if you want to grab a little coffee and conversation before the ride.
