Lunch in Mariposa, followed by a stop at the rather quaint Mariposa Coffee Company. If you like the smell of roasting coffee, you'll enjoy this little side-trip.

Come early (8 AM) for breakfast or a hot beverage at Buffalo Chips in Sutter Creek if you like. Gathering time is 9 AM with KSU soon after. We'll congregate on Randolf St. just outside Buffalo Chips. On the way to lunch we'll pass through San Andreas, Copperopolis, LaGrange, and Hornitos -- a Ghost Town known for its outlaws as well as Domenico Ghirardelli, Sr's General Store where he perfected his chocolate recipes that later made him world-famous.
