Thank you for trying to share your event but we have a special section for events, if you publish it, it will be published on the map and in the Events section. you do not need to spend time reposting it in a bunch of groups as it is done on Facebook and not need to pay for promotion. Just tap the pencil and tap the event and fill out the form ( try to take good photos).
An important point in the settings you or your subscribers can select Notification Area and if an event is created in the selected location you will receive a notification.
