.... thought I'd take a nice ride home the long way. Turned out to be long for a different reason.

It was completely and utterly flat and three canisters of air just came straight back out again. ?

  bob.clark54, Thanks, I used that before (but the slime version) and as I change my own tyres, I found it a pain to scrape off the rims. That said I still think it's worth having under the seat for emergency's.

    ST.LL, Doesnt act like "slime" at all. Actually coats the inside of the tyre.

Good excuse for some new rubber... I have given up with temporary roadside repairs, I just get the AA to recover and sort once I am home and dry.
