Weekend Windies: Canberra to Coast 1

My love of weekend getaway road trips on the bike started when I joined a local ladies motorcycle riding group....

I was terrified to think if be riding down and back up Clyde Mountain for the first time... Even more so... In my head, wondering what the group might think of me if I laid the bike down in a spectacular crash? ?

As always my own overactive imagination was proved wrong as we headed out of town, through Bungendore, through to Braidwood bakery and then onto Batemans Bay without a single missed-gear or forgetting to turn off my blinker off! Turns out I could ride.. I could keep up and even led the way home... It was the start of something special - weekend touring!
