Snails Pace

I really love creating Halloween costumes to ride around in during that time of year, and one year I made a really goofy snail costume that I was excited about. The test runs were great, I would do a full tuck when on the road but only be going like 5 mph, it got a lot of laughs around town, but I couldn’t wait for actual Halloween day, so I’d have my max audience, and be able to hand out candy while mobile.
Well, I got to the stop sign at the end of my street, right in front of a oil change place, and my Yamaha shat out.. again. But this time, I was in a full costume, 90 degrees, and a garage full of men staring at me while I pushed my bike back up the hill I live on. I can still feel the pain in my lungs, and in my pride.

I got a free oil change though, they recognized me and thought it was hilarious.
