The Bistella 500 is a project by a Czech engineer: a 500cc 10-cylinder double-row radial engine with 5 small Roots-type superchargers! The crankcase and cylinder casting look straightforward, but the star crankshafts look fearsome complicated, as does sorting out carburetion, but he’s done it, and it runs.
