Undertray Install
Take inner guard all the way off, offer up your new undetray so you can see what you need to remove – which is Everything behind the battery box
Remove seat lock
Next cut the battery box out.. Cutting grinder, Dremel or a very hot knife will do - a coping saw could probably work very well Keep things neat, cut all the way up past the fuse box holder , then you retain the ability to clip your fuse box holder back in to place … Also cut out the Cdi & Tool holder section , retaining the upright prongs for the cdi boot mount so they won’t be left rattling around ..
If you’d used a disc wheel, finish off the edges
Use Gorilla tape to stick the cdi & tool holder down on the inside of new undertray in the position would normally be in
Fit the battery box over the subframe as standard
Offer up the undertray then put the tailpiece back on and mark up tholes that need drilling underneath for the side panel fixing mount
You can use nuts and bolts if you wish but here I used rubber fairing screen rubber mounts with captive nuts
Fit the tray underneath
Mark up the seat lock
Next cut out your Seat lock barrel hole and refit the lock, then put the undertray back on the bike.
Finish fitting the seat lock mech and cable
Fit your indicators, then refit all your wiring and CDI box using the rubber mounts
