Conquering Pikes Peak ❄️🏍️

In 1938, three daring motorcyclists, including Gyp Baker, rode to the 14,000-foot summit of Pikes Peak on New Year’s Day, sparking an annual tradition. Early rides were so challenging they often followed hiking trails, as roads didn’t yet exist.

Despite harsh winters and difficult terrain, riders continued this bold adventure into the 1960s, proving the power of courage and determination.
