The early-1990s Bimota YB8 was one of the Italian company's fastest, most powerful sportsbikes ever.
Powered by the Yamaha FZR1000's four-cylinder 1002cc EXUP engine with five valves per cylinder, the Bimota packed a 149-horsepower punch. And it was fitted with Bimota's twin-spar aluminium chassis, along with fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension units front and rear. The bike weighed 180 kilos dry and could hit a top speed of around 250kph. A mere 252 units of the YB8 were made.
