1937 Bohmerland 603cc Langtouren 💙❤️🖤
Czechoslovakia was a hub for innovative motorcycle designs in the early 20th century, with Laurin & Klement introducing one of the first four-cylinder motorcycles in 1905. The Böhmerland, designed by Albin Liebisch and produced from 1925 to 1939, was a standout model featuring advanced components like a duplex-loop frame, coil-sprung fork, and cast-alloy wheels – a rarity until the 1970s. The Böhmerland's most celebrated model was the Langtouren, a three-seater with the longest wheelbase of any production motorcycle. Most Böhmerlands came with a 603cc four-stroke single engine, except for a 348cc two-stroke model introduced in 1938. With around 3,000 motorcycles produced, only about 30 Böhmerlands are believed to exist today. This particular Langtouren model has a rich history, having been part of the Pamplona Collection and later sold at auction in 2010. Although its paint finish has deteriorated, the brightwork remains in good condition, and it still features the maker's plaque with Albin Liebisch's name.
