Goldy hinterland - bumpy AF, but fun anyway

Most weekdays I head out through Helensvale, Oxenford & head straight for the GC hinterland
Mt Tamborine, Canungra, Beechmont, Jacobs Well etc
Try'n stay somewhere near the speed limit - well sometimes, anyway
Genuinely not easy on a sports litrebike - they just wanna GO...
Every day ridden with no infringement notices is a good day
The Gixxer is a helluva lotta bike for the $8k I paid for it
Test rode the new Fireblade (MRP $24K) in July 2017: really a phenomenal machine, but REALLY not worth another $16k compared to my 'obsolete" non TC, ABS iteration
The Fireblade felt superb & sounded incredible (even with the stock exhaust)
Always wanted a Honda (I've owned 3 x Yamaha's RD250LC; RZ350; RZ500; 3 x Kawasaki's ZXR750H2; ZXR750L1; ZX7R P1; 4x Suzuki's Gsxr750 WN; Gsxr1000K6; Rgv 250N; Gsxr1000L2)
The 2017 Fireblade mite be the Honda I've always wanted to own (apart from the Nsr250/400s)
But I won't be spending a further $16K (over the $8K i spent on my (11500kms) 2012 Gixxer
I'll wait for the price to decline somewhat...(cheap bastard)
