Ducati 999 - S

I originally fell for its insane, one-of-a-kind design and just really wanted to experience that raw power without a bunch of electronic aids, even though all my friends tried to talk me out of it. Despite all its famous quirks and demanding nature, the pure thrill it gives you on a twisty road means that in 8 years, I haven't regretted buying it once.

I now had a 749s, 916, 999 and now on an 848 Evo. So far the 848 has been the best.

    Panigale next?

Owner Review
Had my 999S for about 8 years now. Is it practical? Not even a little bit. If you get stuck in traffic, it will literally roast your thighs, and the dry clutch pull is so heavy my left hand is permanently cramping. But honestly, I can't let it go. There are no electronic babysitters, just you and the throttle. Once you get it moving on a decent road, it feels completely glued to the pavement. Yeah, the desmo valve service bills make me want to cry, and I still get guys at the gas station asking if my boyfriend let me take his bike out for a spin 🙄. Every winter I think about selling it and getting something comfortable and modern. Then spring comes, I fire it up, hear that obnoxious dry clutch rattle, and completely change my mind. It’s staying in the garage.
