This is your invitation to the 2nd annual "Electrics at the Dragon" event at the Tail of the Dragon! 2020 was a huge success as we had 13 riders on 10 electric bikes, and with all the new deliveries this past year we ought to have more than that in 2021.

I set the event to be from Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27th to give us a good mix of relaxed weekday riding and busy weekend action. feel free to come the 23rd-27th, or stop in anytime in between.

All are welcome whether you own an electric motorcycle or not, so if you have a gas bike to bring in addition to an electric, or just want to check out the electrics for a weekend without owning one, don't hesitate to come!

I have a house rented that's 20 minutes/14 miles south of the Tail of the Dragon/Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort that can serve as a hub for anyone to stop in to rest, cook, hang out by the fire, and for a few of us to stay the night.

There's an abundance of beautiful rides in the area with plenty of charging locations to accommodate Level 2 or 3 capable motorcycles. Charging locations can be found on Plugshare or similar EV charging apps. The main hangout at the south end of the Dragon has three level 2 plugs, so multiple bikes can top up quickly while talking to other riders, eating lunch, or just hanging out watching the action from the sidelines.

I look forward to seeing the returners again, and meeting the new owners of Electric bikes delivered this past year.
