The first annual Weekend At Bertha's is a gathering celebrating counterculture and arts of a diverse variety and kind. The event is generally a three day camp out, and showcases musicians, artists, crafts and vendors from all over.
This is Bertha's first Delaware event, and we aren't pulling any Kool Aid. We have the legendary Molly Hatchet on Friday August 6, and Live Dead 69 featuring Grateful Dead pianist Tom Constanten on Saturday August 7.
Other acts include guitarist Zeke Sky and his trio, Master Sitarist Indro Roy-Chowdury, Tony Trischka's Territory, Juggling Suns Project, American Futurism band Urban Shaman Attack, Karlos Borloff's Monster Madhouse, Xtra Alltra, Social Outcast, Kitty Rotten, and many, many more TBA.
Friday will feature blues and rock to get you full throttled, and a blue grass afterparty under the pavilion going on into the wee hours. Saturday will be psychedelic music with the Diamond State Merry Pranksters running Hyjinx under the pavilion between sets, followed by experimental music under the pavilion.
There will be vendors, art, food, and cold drinks. Passes will be available for just Friday, just Saturday, and the weekend camping pass for the full weekend experience. No glass, no illegal drugs, no doggos, no fighting or bad attitudes, no breaking of any relevant laws.. just good vibes and that American Spirit for a great outdoor party and campout. Must be 21 to drink alcohol, must have ID, no unattended minors. Train Hoppers, Veterans, MC's, and Pranksters are welcome to contact us for group rates.
