The 2023 Cessnock Mitsubishi Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix is back again with a bang!The inaugural Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix was held in October 2014 and was deemed to be a “fantastic success” based from crowd attendance, community feedback and media support.Following on from this success, the event was again held in 2015, 2016, 2017 2018 and 2019, but due to the global pandemic, the following 2 years of 2020 & 2021 saw the event come to a halt. Last years 2022 event saw the biggest crowd attendance to date and we plan on making this years race event greater!
As the ONLY Grand Prix race on 2 wheels held on suburban streets in the country, we think we've got something mighty special here. We also hear there are some whispers in the air about the who's who in the racing world competing in this years event, but we can't give away too many secrets just yet.
A fun filled, action packed, FREE SPECTATOR EVENT, with FREE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT, market stalls, food stalls, Welcome to Country, beautiful local Grid Girls, the Cessnock Marching Pipe & Drum Band, plus many other displays throughout the day will be on show. Local cafes and business houses are encouraged to trade al fresco to the crowds that line the course and visit the Vincent Street precinct.
