Annual Toy Drive at the Walmart Chicopee. We will set up on Friday 11/3 and Saturday 11/4 at 7am until 7pm collecting toys, gift cards and monetary donations for Brightside for Families and Children. This year Brightside for Families and Children and Hope for the Holiday's had a meeting. With the amount of donations recieved every year, our Supporters, Sponsors and Volunteers have made it possible to reach children deeper in our Community who are struggling and need of help at Christmas. At our meeting we wanted to keep the gift of giving alive to organizations who deal with stuggling families and Children, what this Run is ALL about. We concluded What better place than our neighboring Food Pantries at christmas. This year, because this Run Started 37years ago in Chicopee, Brightside and Hope for the Holiday's will partner up and help Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry for their children's wish lists. If this Run continues in size the way it has, with your help and support, we'd like to help neighboring food pantries as well. All we ask is you bring a Toy to help a child at Christmas.
