Consensus is we should make the Archie McKellar Memorial Rideout, an annual event.

Taking place on the Sunday closest to Squadron McKellar’s death, we will muster at Erskine Veterans Village for 10am; Harry’s Cafe opens at 930am if anyone would like breakfast, before we depart at 1020am to head for Eastwood New Cemetery, 204 Orchard Park Ave, Thornliebank, Glasgow G46 7DG.

As per 2022, this is not a marshalled rideout: choose your own route from erskine to the cemetery; if you would prefer to meet at the cemetery and omit Erskine, please do so.

After the memorial service at the cemetery, we will hopefully head to Route 760 cafe at Lochwinnoch but I haven’t asked yet if that’s ok so that may change

Again, this event isn’t about fundraising but you all like to donate so we will ensure there is a collection bucket for anyone wishing to donate but this isn’t essential or required.
