Japanese brand Kawasaki presented the latest version of its most modest street-bike - the 2018 Kawasaki Z125 PRO motorcycle.77798359491cd4364ef.jpg

The motorcycle, previously claimed as the main competitor of Honda Grom, will be designed primarily for the American market. It fits for those desiring a low-priced motorcycle.

For 2018, the Z125 PRO is available in a new color, Metallic Courage Gray and a new special edition available in Candy Plasma Blue/Metallic Spark Black.

What concerns design, the motorcycle is still characterized by edgy, broken, angular and clear lines. With a user-friendly seat height of 787 mm and a low weight of 102 kg, the Z125 PRO is one of the lightest and nimblest road bikes you’ll ever own. The chassis of the Z125 PRO is designed to accommodate two-up riding, if it’s necessary. And an efficient 7.5 Lt fuel tank will keep you on the road longer between fuel stops.

The Z125 PRO’s 4-stroke SOHC engine displaces 125cc, thanks to what it’s tuned for street riding with an exciting and sporty, yet easy to ride power delivery. The Z125 PRO motorcycle has also an electric start, digital fuel injection and the Kawasaki Automatic Compression Release, which utilizes the exhaust valve to release cylinder pressure during starting.

The Z125 PRO uses a four-speed transmission, which is very easy and light to switch. 30mm inverted front forks feature nearly 100 mm of travel, almost like big sports bikes. The rear shock has 4-way preload adjustability, which allows riders to set the spring preload for their weight.

The 2018 Z125 PRO is available in the USA at a price of $3,200. “Special Editions” in Candy Plasma Blue/Metallic Spark Black and KRT Edition in Lime Green/Ebony are $200 more.61042159491d6ab442b.jpg22007959491d7675b9f.jpg
