August 12 - edmonton to Fernie via the cowboy highway

August 13 - Fernie to Kootenay via highway 3
- highway 3A is a must
- stop at glass house
- Balfour ferry to Nelson

August 14 - Nelson across the boarder @ Frontier to Libby
- if you have time, road The Flowery Trail. From Chewelah, Washington to cusick, this is a must

August 15 - Libby to Whitefish

August 16 - Road to the Sun - west to east is best. Both ways if you have time
