Vger, Well for one this is my Home set of tools lol so they don’t get as much use as my tools at work get. However Blue Monster makes Orange scented wipes that work REALLY well to clean tools with comfort grops. But i also wear latex gloves. If you’re working with a lot of grease use the chrome handled ratchets NOT the comfort handles cause the grease and chemicals will discolor the grip and deteriorate it. With the chrome handle ratchets use Brakleen (brake parts cleaner) after use and the grease will wipe right off them. Just gotta properly care for them. For ratchets with knurled grips or textured grips like my SK ratchets use a nylon brush to get into the knurling to clean them out. If you clean them after each use they’ll stay new for basically forever. Aside from nicks and scrapes. I’m pretty anal about my tools but you don’t necessarily have to be. Basic maintenance and a wipe down once in a while would suffice. I’m just very particular haha.
