If you live in the ACT - You Ride the Cotter ?

Literally the most popular local ride circuit in Canberra is affectionately known as “The Cotter”. For the race types, the action is usually up Mt Mac section just past Cotter Dam with plenty of action on any given weekend but I personally preferred the “Cotter Loop” which snakes past the power station, past Cotter campgrounds and over the river and through the farmlands down to Tharwa country store for a drink and an ice cream! It's some of the most beautiful scenery and windy road which gives everyone something to enjoy!
