Three T.T, machines on the Liverpool landing stage prior to being taken to the Isle of Man for the 1911 TT. FY649 is a New Hudson and the other two Humbers - all with three-speed gears. One of the latter caught fire in starting on Douglas promenade.

Early Indian motorcycle with 499cc 3.5 hp single-cyclinder engine, which won first, second and third places in the Isle of Man Senior Tourist Trophy (TT) Race of 1911. In 1900, bicycle manufacturer George Hendee (1866-1943) joined forces with engineer Carl Oscar Hedstrom to form the Indian Motorcycle Company, and produced the first Indian motorcycle in 1911. The Indian and Harley-Davidson motorcycles were the most successful American machines, and both contributed significantly to motorcycle development during the early 20th century.

    One that came to the island in 2011 with alleged TT provenance. I was asked to 'mind' it .
