Well I have 2 klim jackets and pants, but revit gloves and shoei helmet...so mix and match!

What matters is being protective!
I'm an advocate of Riding with gear all the time no matter when.

I have to admit that whilst I tell kids to gear up to ride, I am somewhat ambivalent about my personal gear. I wear good boots, either a well loved pair of combat boots that carried me around 3x theatres of shenanigans, or a nice solid pair of Johnny Rebs. I wear a vest most times, always wear good long pants, gloves and a helmet (helmets being mandatory in Aussie), but seriously, if they struggled to get me to wear Kevlar helmets in Afghanistan and Iraq, I am not too fussed on my personal safety now. ;) I am a firm believer in personal responsibility. If I was to have a serious accident, I have the appropriate paperwork filed to let EMT know that I am a "DNR" voluntarily. That is "Do Not Resuscitate". Let me reiterate,that is *my personal choice* and that I suggest protective gear is the better option. But, choose for yourself. After all, the only true freedom is in our individual sovereignty as humans existing in this world.

  AJay, I think at the end of the day we're all adults with the power of being individuals and the freedom to make our own decisions and that we should all respect each other's opinions and beliefs as we are one big community are the world. Embracing safety among each other is the best we can do, but at the end each individual makes there final call, and I personally respect each one of them.

Though I do favor Alpine, I wear what works best for the type of riding and weather. So I guess I'm a mix and match. 😊
