Could someone tell me what year/model this gas tank is from?

Helping clean out my friend's garage and found this old looking Honda gas tank. He never owned a bike, so most likely his dad's since I remember him being pretty into motorcycles but he's not around anymore to ask about it. Wanted to see if it's even worth anything, so looking for info on what it's for.
