Saved by a biker!
So, I have started my trip homeward, a little early, but that is another story.
I pulled up in Esk, Queensland with a broken seat mount, the front one. The roads have been taking their toll obviously.
As I am slowly working the problem and with a few riders going past, looking at me and continuing on their merry way, I was surprised by the gent on a late model HD who turned around and pulled up to see if I needed help.
Tony is an Esk local and I followed him to his house where he welded the bracket for me and got me back on the road.
I am now in Warwick, Qld, for the night and a little closer to home because of an old school biker who, like me, believes in stopping to ask if the other bloke or blokette is ok!
