How nuts is this?
Over the weekend Ducati DesertX mounted Antoine Meo took on Erzbergrodeo and won the Twin Cylinder class in convincing fashion. Meo's DesertX was the only twin-cylinder to qualify for the Mitas Rocket Ride Superfinal against 277 other riders. Antoine is no stranger to the top step of the podium being a multi time Enduro World Champion, but to throw a twin-cylinder bike around Erzberg mine racing against single cylinder enduro bikes is a whole new challenge! Taking a close look at the photos the DesertX looked trick, with a different colour scheme and mechanically some tasty looking upgraded suspension with longer travel could be seen. Otherwise, the DesertX looked amazingly close to standard.Erzberg has a fearsome reputation so massive props must go to Meo and Ducati for being the sole twin-cylinder bike to make it into the Superfinal around this brutal course.
