The danger of manholes is real when the roads are wet.

A really wet day in North Cornwall. Just at the junction, there were 2 manholes, side by side, exactly where you might position to emerge right. Fortunately there was no injury and minimal damage apart from a bruised ego! Those BMW 1250GS's are very heavy though! Worth checking manhole position at junctions.
