Between helmet sizes

I was going to get a strada 3, on the sizing cart it says a small goes up to 22in and a medium starts at 22.4 and of course, I am right between at 22.25 did try both in the store, the small felt tight tight and the medium felt pretty good but a little wiggle nothing crazy, so just in safety perspective which would be better? Thanks in advance
