North & West Texas MCGTTX Day2 Report

Day 2, Saturday 05/11, finds us waking up a bit late. The bed was too comfy and yesterday's afternoon winds were rough at times. We had an OK breakfast, the bread was fantastic but everything else was average, at The Bucket before heading out. About 2 hours after starting we were hit with rain which would be off and on thru the rest of the trip to Seagraves and The Hotel Texan where we will spend this night. About 390 miles. But this leg took more time as we surely averaged 10mph less than on Friday plus we made extra stops to stretch our dampened souls. The Hotel Texan is a 107 year old building. It was neat and the owner was cool. However the structure needs thousands of dollars more of renovation. I still would recommend.
